UV and Mystic Tanning Equipment

For UV tanning, Tan Etc uses state of the art Tan America UV tanning equipment.  The lay down beds are VIP 3200 VHO 32 lamp with or without facials - 12, 15, 20, or 30 minute length.  The stand up units are Sun Dazzler 48 lamp (Great Hills and Avery Ranch locations), and Ultra Sun Power Tower (South Lamar and Anderson Mill locations) 52 lamp.  All tanning beds have built in bed fans and CD player radios.
Tan America Premier 42 lamp bed offered at Anderson Mill and South Lamar locations. 
For sunless tanning, Tan Etc uses Mystic Tan equipment.  The Mystic Tan is a spray on process designed to create a natural tan color to the skin.  The solution reacts with proteins and amino acids in the top layer of the skin to create the golden brown color.  It will begin to darken 2 to 3 hours after application and will reach its peak color within 24 hours.  The tan will last about 5 to 7 days.

        Airbrush Tanning 
 
At the Avery Ranch, Far West, and South Lamar locations, Tan Etc offers Airbrush Tanning, a customized sunless tanning process that gives an all over even and consistent tan.  Call Avery Ranch (512) 255-4282, Far West (512) 338-1172, or the South Lamar location (512) 383-1886, to make an appointment.
   

*The treatment takes about 15 minutes, and it is recommended to wait 8 - 12 hours to shower afterwards.
*The solution contains bronzers and DHA, which reacts with proteins and amino acids in your skin to create a natural, brown tan.
*Depending on your skin type and life style, the tan will last 5 - 10 days. 

   

Tips for preparing for an Airbrush Tanning Session: 
*Take a shower and exfoliate. Do not use any shaving creams or moisturizers day of the session.  Remove deodorant.
*Bring an old bathing suit or under garment for the tanning session (the solution may stain the material).
*Wait 8 - 12 hours to shower after the session. After showering moisturize daily as this will retain the tan longer.
